A Friend in the Storm

When it feels like life has failed you
and your mind’s been cast in war,
please remember Love’s forever;
I will pass you through this door.

You don’t cry alone in battle,
even when you think you’ve lost.
Please believe this truth, My winner:
Heaven paid your victor cost.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18

Jesus Calling

Keep your eyes on Me! Waves of adversity are washing over you, and you feel tempted to give up. As your circumstances consume more and more of your attention, you are losing sight of Me. Yet I am with you always, holding you by your right hand. I am fully aware of your situation, and I will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear.

Psalm 73:23; I Corinthians 10:13

Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.

In His Hands

Today every inner need you have can be perfectly met, not because you have the supply, but because God does.
No material possession can bring you true joy;
no human relationship can fill your heart with divine love;
no circumstance can provide you with God’s peace.
The kingdom He has placed within us is the kingdom of everything that is right and good and necessary.

But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

You Shall Not Want

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. Psalm 23:1

To the lost sheep, He is the seeking Shepherd;
To the needy sheep, He is the providing Shepherd;
To the hurting sheep, He is the comforting Shepherd;
To the bruised sheep, He is the healing Shepherd;
To the anxious sheep, He is the peaceful Shepherd;
To the wandering sheep, He is the guiding Shepherd;
To the fearful sheep, He is the protecting Shepherd;
To all His sheep, He is the Good Shepherd.

Encouragement for Spring!

In the ever-changing circumstances of life, there is a faithful, never-changing God in control.

Every day begins and ends with His purpose-
there isn’t a detail that escapes His eye…
a trial that doesn’t touch His heart…
or a single experience beyond His compassion.

Every moment of your life is in His care-
and I pray that He gives you overwhelming peace and hope today.

Pray about everything; tell God your needs… If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6, 7 TLB
