Spiritual Blindness

35 When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

36 The man answered, “Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him.”

37 “You have seen him,” Jesus said, “and he is speaking to you!”

38 “Yes, Lord, I believe!” the man said. And he worshiped Jesus.

39 Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment—to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

40 Some Pharisees who were standing nearby heard him and asked, “Are you saying we’re blind?”

41 “If you were blind, you wouldn’t be guilty,” Jesus replied. “But you remain guilty because you claim you can see.

Celebrate His Resurrection

Easter 2013

In every promise that was fulfilled…
Through His birth, life and resurrection,
May you find daily joy and lasting peace.
Blessings as you celebrate His resurrection.

He who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:23

Jesus Is The Foundation

Jesus is the Foundation of my faith.

He is my security and the faith that I rest in.

Jesus said “He… who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice…
is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.” Luke 6:47-48

Thoughts About Salvation

Been thinking this since yesterday after attending the Sunday service.   Most of us know (maybe) that salvation is a gift of God the moment that we accept Him on our lives.  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. – Ephesians 2:8-9

But what’s next? What is the right response after accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior?

I guess, that the best way to live this life after we “genuinely” accept Jesus Christ is to use the Bible as our daily guide and basis of our lifestyle.  No buts, no ifs and whatever the bible says is final.

Pastors, church leaders, small group leaders etc… can only remind us,  pray for us, support us – but your relationship with Jesus Christ will forever stay unique between You and Him.  No copy paste because His plan for you, is only for you.  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11

I am not exempted here and please don’t just follow my advise.  Talk to Him.

Who Am I? I AM.

I watch others. I wonder. I start to compare. I try to sift through the advice, what not to do, the life examples. But God calls me back to my real identity. An identity that doesn’t need a fancy title, to be made important, or be concerned what it looks like from the outside as if a grand accomplishment.

I AM tells me I am His. My identity was never my own. My plans are futile apart from Him. Only His plans matter. Only He can accomplish Kingdom work through me. My identity is hidden IN HIM.

This is what I would say to my daughter someday. I pray to understand it myself so she won’t only hear the words but she will see a life that reflects the very ideal.

I know that He has good plans for me He put forth in advance. He tells me so. {Eph 2:10}
I know that His identity is more important than mine. He tells me to make Him known and not myself. {Col 1:27}
I know that I have died to this life {and continue to do so each day as best I can} but my REAL LIFE is hidden with Christ in God. {Col 3:3}
